  • Garbage Days: Monday & Thursdays
  • Recycling Days: Thursdays
  • Yard Waste Days: Mondays

Note: Trucks may come prior to 7 AM; it is permissible to have your cans out the night before pick up.

There is no garbage, recycling or yard waste collection on the following holidays, unless otherwise noted:

  • New Year’s Day (January 1) – Only normally scheduled recycling collection will occur on this day
  • Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
  • Independence Day (July 4)
  • Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November) – Regular schedule resumes on the Friday after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day (December 25) – Regular schedule on Dec. 24 and 26

Regular collection is scheduled for all other holidays.

If your collection date falls on a holiday, services will resume on the next regularly scheduled collection day

Hillsborough County offers a senior citizen discount for trash service on our annual solid waste disposal assessment. This assessment fee is included as part of your annual property tax bill, which is mailed to you on November 1 each year.

Senior Citizens Solid Waste Discount

  • Only one solid waste senior citizen discount per single family residential household
  • At least 65 years of age by January of the following calendar year
  • Own and live in the single residential unit you list on your senior citizen discount application
  • Your name must appear on your annual tax bill
  • Application found in the How To section on this website

Wind Mitigation Reports are now available for home owners due to the completion of the roofing project. To receive your copy please request from bonita@vanguardmanagementgroup.com. Name and address are required as each report is specific to your home.

If you notice that your area is not being watered, please contact Vanguard at 813-930-8036 or via their website to report the problem.

Phoebe Park Irrigation Schedule

There are 111 zones in Phoebe Park.

Note that all watering starts at 4 PM and ends before 8 AM.

  • Zones 1 – 55 irrigates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  This includes all Phoebenest Drive except for 5907/09, 5911/13 and 5917/19.
  • Zones 56 – 111 irrigates Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.  This includes all Phoebepark Avenue plus 5907/09, 5911/13 and 5917/19 Phoebenest Drive.
